Purity Scan, sited at (www.purityscan.com) is an advertising spyware that proposes to initiate “FREE Scan” to scan your computer for potentially offensive pornographic content. But nothing is truly free and “downloader purityscan” comes with its own hidden costs. In fact this ad-sponsored application installs its own annoying pop-up ad windows, a sign of adware, on your computer that will display pop-up ads when you surf the web.

2) Remove AutoRun Reference with RegEdit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun.
Navigate to the key:
HKEY_USERS.DEFAULTSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun
In the right pane, delete the value: "twhe"="%Windir%Application Datawbta.exe"
Navigate to the key:
HKEY_USERS.DEFAULTSoftware
In the right pane, delete the subkey "Ttee"
Then remove these registry items (if present) :
HKEY_CURRENT_USERsoftwaremicrosoftwindowscurrentversion uncontentservice 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER SOFTWARE Microsoft Windows CurrentVersion Run' In the right pane, look values called 'WNST', 'WCPS' and 'WNSC', remember the files (*) they point to, delete the values.
3) Remove purity scan final step: Exit regedit and remove these files (if present) with Windows Explorer:
